Rowlee Construction, Inc

Theodore “Ted” Rowlee is the vice president of Rowlee Construction and co-owner of Kodiac LLC, local development company.

He graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a bachelor’s degree in urban planning. Rowlee, 39, is a member of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the director of the Fulton YMCA. He serves as coach for Fulton Youth Hockey and Fulton Lacrosse, and is a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Rowlee Construction’s development of Arby’s restaurant and the renovation of the Pizza Hut in Fulton led to several projects in New York and Pennsylvania for Rowlee Construction. The construction of Arby’s was swift, as it took 61 days from clearing land to having sandwiches being served at the restaurant. “My family has instilled a work ethic in me that gives me the drive I need,” said Rowlee, whose father, Larry Rowlee started the company 35 years ago.

Rowlee’s efforts have lead to local construction and reconstructions around the area. These projects include: Advance Auto, BirdsEye, Brookfield Power, Dunkin’ Donuts, Foster Funeral Home, Fulton Savings Bank, Oswego Opportunities and the Volney Fire Department. Rowlee is a certified welder, commercial driver and CDL driver and operator. He holds an asbestos license and real estate salesman license. “I try to stay up to date with many of the trades associated with our business,” he said. “Nobody will care why you did not get a job done, or done on time, just whether you did or did not succeed,” he added. “I take it very personal when we tackle a project.” (AC)
