Aimee Johnson
Vice President of Lending, Oswego County Federal Credit Union

Aimee Johnson is vice president of lending at Oswego County Federal Credit Union in Oswego.

Prior to her current role, she served as senior loan officer for OCFCU. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from SUNY Oswego.

“In less than 10 years, I have been able to go from a part-time teller to a vice president of lending,” Johnson said. “Through this dedication, I am able to work on all areas of the business and am well rounded in my career. My passion for the industry is shown with the amount of responsibilities I am given besides lending at work.”

“In a credit union, it’s all about ‘people helping people.’ Every day, I get to help our members enhance their lives, whether that is through their finances or just putting a smile on their face. I truly enjoy every aspect of my job and the impact I have on people every day,” she said.

At OCFCU, Johnson has been instrumental in developing student lending programs; a “Round-up Account;” has helped implement its new website featuring online banking; has helped develop “The Big Picture,” a personal finance management platform, and is currently implementing a mobile lending application.

Johnson is treasurer for the Friends of Camp Hollis board and is on the Young Professionals Commission through the Credit Union Association of New York. At Camp Hollis, she coordinates the Kids ‘N’ Trucks event. With the Young Professionals Commission, she helps to retain and educate young professionals in the credit union movement.

She is a member of Leadership Oswego County’s Class of 2009.
