Alyssa Amyotte is coordinator of service learning and community service at SUNY Oswego.

Amyotte, 30, has been in her current position since January 2008.

She holds a Master of Science degree in counselor education with a concentration in student affairs from SUNY Plattsburgh. Prior to her current position, she worked as a graduate assistant for the Center for Student Involvement at SUNY Plattsburgh.

"Watching students I have worked with graduate and become successful adults is probably my biggest accomplishment," Amyotte said. "I also take pride in expanding our service programs for students and increasing the total number of service hours completed by students by over 100 percent since I started here. I take pride in working hard and being successful in whatever I set out to do, including my career," she noted.

Amyotte is president of Friends of Camp Hollis; family liaison for Oswego County Habitat for Humanity; a volunteer for On Point for College, Newman Foundation, United Way fund allocation committee, United Way golf tournament, and Harborfest; former tutor for Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County; former conversation partner for the summer intensive English program; Migrant Education Outreach Program; Habitat for Humanity International (Cambodia-2009), and Fuller Center for Housing (El Salvador and Haiti-2012). She is a member of Leadership Oswego County's Class of 2009.
