Ariane Hamblin-Smith
Veterinarian/Owner, Black Creek Animal Clinic LLC

Ariane Hamblin-Smith is the veterinarian/owner of Black Creek Animal Clinic, Fulton.

Prior to that, she worked as an associate veterinarian at Highland Animal Hospital in Central Square. She earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Kansas State University, a bachelor's degree at Cornell University and an Associate of Applied Science degree at SUNY Cobleskill.

"I believe the connections I have made with clients within the community and the care I can offer their pets is very valuable," she said. "I also consider the purchase of an established veterinary practice as one of my most significant accomplishments."

"Being a working mom, professional and business owner all at once is a challenge and a huge accomplishment," she said.

Every year, Hamblin-Smith volunteers to help the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department's field days event, which raises money for the organization. She also is involved in the Oswego County Spay Neuter Clinic that provides low-cost spay/neuter services to Oswego County residents.
