Julie J. Trepasso-Warren
Supervising Public Health Nurse, Oswego County Health Department & Nursing Lab Instructor, Cayuga Community College

Julie J. Trepasso-Warren is the supervising public health nurse at the Oswego County Health Department as well as a nursing lab instructor at Cayuga Community College, Fulton Campus.

Trepasso-Warren, 39, has a Master of Science degree in nursing, with a specialization in leadership and management, nursing education, from Walden University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Roberts Wesleyan, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing from Cayuga Community College.

Trepasso-Warren said her most significant professional accomplishment is "giving back to my profession by becoming an instructor at the college I once was a student at," she said. "Being a nurse educator and molding future nurses is the biggest project I have ever been involved in," she said. "The first and most important thing that drives me to excel in my profession, and the reason why I became a nurse, is because I care about people," she said.

Trepasso-Warren is on the advisory panel for the Office for the Aging; a member of the National Infusion Nurses Society; Regional Quality Assurance Committee of Central New York; the Granby Elementary site-based committee, Fulton City School District; Bishop's Commons at St. Luke's Professional Advisory Board; the Granby Elementary Parent-Teacher Group, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing.

"The most significant personal achievement I have been involved in is obtaining my advanced degree while working full time and being a mother," Trepasso-Warren said.
