Why did you get involved with the Maritime Foundation?
"I originally got involved because the foundation was starting an underwater archeology program. I agreed to be president and am proud to be affiliated with the organization. I became president to help move the foundation forward; we're celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2005."
Why are you part of Farnum, Inc.?
"It's a substance abuse and counseling agency. I was asked to fill an expired term of another board member and I've been on the board ever since. That's another agency that does a lot of good in the community."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
"I hope to still be in this position. I see myself both as a professional and a volunteer and still be in a position of public service and be serving Oswego County."
