Why did you choose a career in healthcare administration?
"I was in a different industry in sales and real estate. I investigated the opportunity at Oswego Health and was able to take on a new challenge at a larger institution."
What made you decide to work with the elderly ?

"I was also volunteer coordinator at St. Luke, where I got to work with seniors and children. I started working in this field and realized it was a great fit for me. I always want to come to work. It's a rewarding career."
Why was Springside Manor at Seneca Hill such an important development for you?
"It was exciting for me to go out and take on a new opportunity. I brought marketing and my real estate skills to the board. The diversification of our business lines was an exciting time. It began to reinvent the organization."
Why do you want to see the healthcare industry grow?
"We have a senior population that will explode by 2011. We have to plan to meet the needs of those people. I like having an impact on the quality of life in Oswego County, which I believe is already above average."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I'd like to envision myself in a continually growing role in healthcare with Oswego Health. I think healthcare in 10 years will only slightly resemble what we have today. It will be drastically different.
