Why do you do free public health talks? "When I came to the center six years ago one of my desires was to get the community more involved. One way to do that is to reach out to the community with these talks."
What benefits are there to taking student interns?
"At least six months out of the year I have a student in the office. Basically, even having an extra set of ears and eyes is beneficial to the patient, and passing along skills and mentoring is very important."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

"Probably right where I am. Over the years I have been enveloped in the community. I want to be getting involved with the community more over time."
