Why did you choose a career in the woodworking and wood supply business
? "An opportunity presented itself. I was gone for 10 years and I moved back home. My dad was a log and timber broker and he sold that business in 1996. We started working together and built a dry kiln and wood shop and we've been doing it for 10 years now. It doesn't feel like work. It's so much fun." Why do you have such an interest in the Salmon River Greenway Trail Committee? "It's an amazing outdoor recreational resource for us. It's truly a treasure. My eyes were opened to it this summer. It's like having the Adirondacks in your back yard. It's about quality of life and getting people to move here or visit."
Why do you stay involved with your community? "It's home. You look at the community and you want to get things done. You have to get people enthused to get things done. You can't sit back and wish it there. You have to organize it and get people enthused."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? "In Pulaski selling wood. I'm here for life."
